In his 22 years as a fitness professional, JR has honed his training philosophy, taking a functional and holistic approach to designing individualized wellness programs utilizing sound and manageable principles of nutrition, corrective flexibility, and weight training techniques. JR also draws on his experience as an accomplished dual-sport college and dual-sport pro athlete to create fun and effective training programs for all fitness levels.
JR brings your body and mentality levels you never imagined possible. He empowers his clients to take personal responsibility for their health by providing the opportunity for all individuals to improve their quality of life through exercise and physical activity. Most importantly, he makes sure workouts are fun and inspiring, and consistently pushes you to raise the bar.
JR has spent 13 of his 23 years in fitness training individuals and groups at his private studio on Mercer Island. He is dedicated to providing specialized attention, training, and knowledge needed to help his clients achieve their unique fitness objectives.
JR maintains the highest standards for his training style, regularly participating in related courses to develop his skills. His certifications range from CSCS and ISSA to TRX, kettlebell, yoga and Pilates.
